For Eirin, the medical treatment meant a convenience. He is disappointed with the twisted debate that exists around trans care – and wants to nuance the picture.
– I would definitely have found myself without changing my body, but I wouldn’t have been happy or comfortable, he says.
Eirin believes that the medical treatment is only one piece of the puzzle in trans care, the conversations and the context are just as important.
