A sprinter representing Tarmo in Hämeenlinna Eino Vuori ran the men’s 60 meters with an excellent time of 6.62 and rose to fourth place in the all-time Finnish statistics for the distance.
Vuori, 22, ran his record result in the heat of the competition held in Liikuntamylly, Helsinki, and in the final his winning time was 6.67. The mountain record before Saturday’s runs was 6.69, which was run earlier this season.
