A young teenage girl was subjected to 19 rapes – now the Lund district court has sentenced a man close to her to eight years in prison for the abuses in the years 2006-2008.
The victim, who is now an adult woman, is awarded more than SEK 850,000 in damages, Sydsvenskan reports.
An important part of the evidence is diary entries that the man kept during the crime period. There he describes, among other things, intimate contacts with the young girl. The court has also had access to emails that the man sent to her.
During the trial, the woman described the man as limitless. On one occasion of the crime, scissors were used against her abdomen, writes Kvällsposten.
“The defendant and the young girl lived as if in a bubble and slowly but surely the defendant pushed the limit of what is not permitted,” writes the Lund District Court in the judgment.
