Eight people, including a child, have been killed by a Russian attack in Sumy in northeastern Ukraine, according to the regional prosecutor’s office.
Ten more were injured in the attack, which according to the authority damaged at least ten multi-storey buildings in a residential area in the city.
Sunday’s attack takes place just hours after Russia carried out one of the largest air attacks in a long time in the early morning, against Kiev and Odessa, among others.
