A student who is suspected of the crime has been arrested, according to the country’s Ministry of the Interior.
“Police immediately dispatched all available units to the scene and arrested a juvenile suspect – a seventh-grader who is suspected of firing multiple shots from his father’s gun in the direction of students and school security personnel,” the department wrote in a statement.
The alarm about the shooting came from the school at 08:40.
