Eight people were arrested late on Wednesday evening in the Södertälje area, suspected of, among other things, preparation for murder. They were later arrested by prosecutors.
– We received a call about a crime and started looking for a number of people. We found them a couple of hours later and they were then arrested and detained in the morning, says Mats Eriksson, press spokesperson at the police, to TT.
The criminal charges include preparation for murder, aggravated weapons offenses and aggravated unlawful threats.
– Not everyone is a suspect for all classifications, but it is different for different people. We continue to interrogate them during the evening and if necessary during the morning, says Mats Eriksson.
According to information to Expressen, those arrested have connections to the Södertälje network.
