Already a million users have offered themselves a connected ring from the most cutting-edge company in the sector, Oura, from Finland. The French Circular is about to market its first model.

In addition to the fact that they are less bulky than a watch or a sensor on the wrist, the connected rings are worn constantly, even at night or in water (they are waterproof), and they are said to be more precise in their measurements. .

    More precision, more battery life

Their role: to capture heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), skin temperature, respiratory phases, sleep monitoring, all in connection with an application on the smartphone.

The autonomy of the rings is also significantly greater than that of watches: count 4 days of autonomy after a full recharge of 60 minutes.

The first rings arrive at 300 €

Such rings, which are still uncommon, cost less than 300 euros and are primarily aimed at athletes, fans of precise and ever more reliable recordings, with worn systems that are less bulky than a watch.

Some will wear them alone, without any other connected equipment; others in addition to watches which retain the advantage of displaying notifications and message previews on the screens. The rings are devoid of it… for the moment?
