According to Egypt’s state media, negotiations on the second phase of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas have begun in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
A news release published by the media states that on Thursday, the Israeli, Qatar and the US authorities began “intensive discussions” on the matter.
According to the announcement, the parties to the negotiations will also discuss in Cairo the means of providing humanitarian aid to the Gaza lane.
Previously, Qatar’s media had said that negotiations on the second phase of the ceasefire would be to begin on Sunday.
The first phase of a six -week ceasefire ends on Saturday.
