Egypt has found a huge natural gas reserve in the Mediterranean!

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

It is stated that Egypt has discovered a large natural gas reserve in the Nergis borehole in the Mediterranean.

According to the news of Egypt’s Al-Ahram newspaper, Oil and Mineral Resources Minister Tariq al-Molla made a statement regarding the new discovery at today’s meeting of the energy committee.

Noting that the gas reserve in Nergis-1X, the first offshore drilling well in Egypt, is still under evaluation, Molla stated that this reserve is the most important discovery after the Zohr field.

Molla noted that the details about the amount of the reserve in the borehole will be announced in the coming days.

In 2015, the Italian company Eni discovered natural gas in the Zohr region off the coast of Egypt.

It is estimated that there are 3.5 trillion cubic feet of gas reserves in Narcissus-1X. (AA)
