Egypt announced: Rafah Border Gate is open, Israel does not accept aid entering Gaza

Egypt announced Rafah Border Gate is open Israel does not

Ahmed Abu Zeyd, Spokesperson of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, published a written statement regarding the current situation of the Rafah Border Gate and the humanitarian aid planned to be sent to Gaza.

“IT ENCOURAGES THE DEPORTATION SCENARIO”

Stating that Egypt has been targeted by the Western media since the beginning of the tension between Israel and Palestine, Abu Zeyd said:

“(Western media) promotes the Deportation scenario. Israel holds Egypt responsible for the border gate being closed, even though it hit the border gate (Palestinian side) 4 times and refused the entry of aid.”

Abu Zeyd said, “The Rafah Border Gate is open, Israel does not accept aid to enter Gaza. Today, the responsibility for the evacuation of third country citizens is placed on Egypt. The border gate is open, Egypt is not responsible for their failure to evacuate.” he said.

Pointing to the “Cairo Peace Summit” planned to be held on October 21, hosted by Cairo, the capital of Egypt, Abu Zeyd noted that tomorrow’s summit is an opportunity to reach the right path. (AA)
