EGM, 20% of companies disclose ESG aspects on a voluntary basis

The war exposes the fragility of ESG investments

(Tiper Stock Exchange) – They are 38, out of a total of 190companies listed on Euronext Growth Milan (formerly AIM Italia) which provide for the voluntary disclosure of ESG aspects in a specific document, i.e. 20% of the market and a total capitalization of 3,024 million euros (equal to 28.5% of the total market capitalization). This calculation takes into account companies that have recently published one of the following documents: Sustainability Report, Impact Report or ESG Report. These are the data from the latest research by CFO SIM on the subject.

Although such a small sample cannot yet be considered truly significant, of the 38 companies with an ESG profile considered, 29% operate in the sector Industrialfollowed by Technology (24%), Consumer Discretionary (16%) and Healthcare (11%).

Also, they are currently 14 Benefit companies listed on the Euronext Growth Milan segment, (about 7% of the total) with a total capitalization of 627 million euro. I’m: ABC Company, Caribbean company, Convergences, Defense Tech Holding, Digital360, Eprcommunication, FAE Technology, Jonix, Kolinpharma, Labomar, Networks, SIAV, SG Company And Vantea Smart.

In line with the statistics on companies reporting ESG aspects, the sector overview shows that 50% of Benefit companies operate in the Technology sector while the other companies are distributed among Healthcare (2), Industrials (2), Utilities (1) , Finance (1) and Consumer Staples (1).

Of the 14 Benefit companies, 3 obtained the B-Corp certification (Eprcommunication, Networks And Vantea Smart).
