Fullback Josef Ingman, who scored the 3–0 goal, did not mince words in C More after two periods:
— It’s not about it looking so nice every time, it’s about doing the simple, the tough and the hard. It doesn’t work for all the “lalla” out there to think that we are the best in the world. We’re lucky.
Despite the criticism – the series winner Modo goes to Mora for the next two semi-finals with 2-0 in matches.
Mora dominated in terms of play and chances – winning the shots 29–17 – but Modo scored the goals.
Fullback star and goalscorer David Bernhardt made it 1-0 at the end of the first period and Josh Dickinson and Ingman made sure the home team led 3-0 after two periods.
That was also the end result.
The third match is played in Mora on Wednesday.
In the second semi-final series, where Björklöven leads over Djurgården 1–0, the next match will be played on Tuesday evening.
