After a tip about arms trade, the police decided to raid the man’s house on the Meentweg on 10 July 2020. According to the prosecutor, the weapons were scattered throughout the house, sometimes with ammunition. An AK47 assault weapon, three single-barreled shotguns, five revolvers, a gas revolver and two converted alarm pistols were found under the bed in the bedroom, in cupboards and under a sofa.
