There seemed to be no problem for Eemdijk, which took a 1-0 lead after 23 minutes through striker Franslyn Nsingi. He managed to hit hard on a pass from Sjohn van Gulik. The 2-0 was not forthcoming, after which Berkum was able to do something back through Twan Knul just before halftime. He took full advantage of an error at Eemdijk and scored the 1-1.
