Tolvanen’s new contract is for two years.
Ice hockey player Eeli Tolvanen has signed a two-year contract extension with the Seattle Kraken. The NHL club announced the matter on Friday evening Finnish time.
In the new contract, the Finn’s annual earnings are 3.475 million dollars, or 3.21 million euros.
Tolvanen, who plays as a winger, moved to Seattle in the middle of the 2022-2023 season from the Nashville Predators.
Last season, Tolvanen scored a total of 41 power points (16+25) in 81 regular season games. The team was excluded from the playoffs.
At the end of the season, the team fired its head coach By Dave Hakstol and appointed as his new head coach Dan Bylsman.
Earlier this week it was reported that the Seattle Kraken have hired the first full-time female coach in NHL history, as About Jessica Campbell will be the team’s assistant coach. Read more here.
