Edvin Anger was three seconds from a medal in 10 km classic, but the Swede came just off the podium.
He was beaten by three Norwegians, of which Johannes Hösflot Kläbo won.
William Poromaa also came in sixth place.
Edvin Anger Had it tough in the World Cup sprint in Trondheim and went out in the semi-finals. In the skiathlon (20 km) he came in 14th place. He was looking for revenge in 10 km classic style and led the race for a long time, but in the end there was no medal for him.
Three Norwegians on the podium
The Norwegians were too difficult to break in the 10-kilometer race in Granåsen, Trondheim. Johannes Hösflot KläboThe Erik Valnes and Harald Östberg Amundsen all came before Edvin Anger William Poromaa which eventually ran in fourth and sixth place.

Anger went out at a furious pace and was in the lead for a long time and went to the finish as one. He stood for a very fast and stable race. But for a long period, another Swede seemed to reach the highest. William Poromaa had medal flavor in his mouth, but he lost a lot at the last kilometer. During the rally he went from second to sixth place. In the end, he was 15 seconds after Kläbo. He dropped eleven seconds during the last 800 meters.
