It is not only on the women’s side that Sweden has a chance at medals in the World Cup sprint.
Edvin Anger may very well land a pallet place, but it is obviously difficult to disrupt the giant Johannes Hösflot Kläbo in the fight for gold.
– It’s scandalous if he doesn’t win, says Anger to Sportbladet.
It was almost ten years ago Calle Halfvarsson and Petter Northug Went around in the ski tracks and threw shit and piked each other. Since then, there has been no given Swedish-Norwegian rivalry between two riders, especially not on the men’s side. But now Edvin Anger22, opened the door. He gives himself on the self Johannes Hösflot Kläbo28.
Anger likes to be muffled with Kläbo
Edvin Anger now tells Sportbladet that he notices that Kläbo is starting to get annoyed at him. Suddenly there is a Swedish rival to gnaw. Anger himself just thinks it is fun to be mouth -cut and throw some lighter fluid on the fire, he is happy to turn to the media to get even more lighthouse on the fire. He also does it more as the Norwegian’s dominance is starting to loosen up a bit. It is no longer given that Kläbo wins all distances at the World Cup.

– He probably feels that the threats are coming. There are more people who are approaching. I won my first sprint, Iivo Niskanen hit him now at 10 kilometers in Falun. I think he feels a lot of pressure and there is really a lot to be right for him with the press he has, Edvin tells Sportbladet.
Kläbo has a very high fall height in VM
– He would never forget that. The fall height for him is extremely great during this championship. It is perhaps one of the last championships he does. I don’t know how many more he drives, maybe it’s 2-3 more after this? But at the same time, this will be his biggest. He has so much pressure on his shoulders and it impresses if he manages to go as he always does when there are 30,000 Norwegians there and the only thing they think is that it is scandal if he does not win.
