Edvard is the world’s best nine-year-old – at pinball

He started playing pinball when he was six years old. You could say that he was born into a pinball family, as the whole family are more or less active pinball players.

There are two pinball machines in the family’s basement. But nine-year-old Edvard Kummel also spends much of his free time in the pinball hall in Karlskrona.

– To become a good pinball player, you only need to play really intensively for a year, he says.

According to the official ranking for the sport, which is produced by the International Flipper Pinball Association, Karlskrona is ranked as the best in the world in the category of children under 10 years of age. Edvard Kummel is also placed in fourth place in Sweden among young people under the age of 18.
