Educator charged – spat and hit cleaners at school

Two cleaners told a school teacher when they thought she was damaging the floor that had just been treated.
The educator then hit one with a clenched fist – and spat in the other’s face.
– It felt humiliating, says one woman in questioning.

Riot broke out at a school in Leksand after a female teacher was told off by two cleaners.

The woman is now facing charges on suspicion of assaulting a cleaner and spitting in the other’s face, which Siren was the first to report.

The incident took place in April and is said to have started with the teacher moving furniture around on a freshly cleaned floor. When she was then told by the cleaners, she went on the attack.

– She screams that XX is a whore and screams that we are all Nazis, says one of the cleaners in questioning.

Was detained

The other cleaner says that the teacher held her down and hit her with a clenched fist.

When the principal tried to calm the situation down, it must have escalated further.

– There is something wrong somewhere, says the cleaner.

She describes it as the educator “gaping and shouting” at her colleague.

– When she turns her head back, she made a bet, collected saliva and spat XX straight in the face.

“Degrading”

Several people are said to have been at the scene and witnessed the incident. The cleaner describes the situation as “absolutely terrible”.

– I had her spit in my eyes and in my mouth. It felt humiliating, she says.

The accused educator denies any wrongdoing.
