The initial cancellation was not a reason for participants not to come. “The call from the municipality this morning was intended as a discouragement, but we are not discouraged. This is too important, we cannot miss the opportunity to protest with many people,” says Sander Otte, professor at TU Delft. “It’s a shame that fewer people have come now, but we also hear that there are actions going on throughout the country, so that’s great.”
