Edil San Felice half yearly profit rises to 42 million euros

(Finance) – Edil San Felicean operator active in the critical infrastructure maintenance sector in Italy and listed on Euronext Growth Milan, closed the first half of 2023 with a Production value equal to 21.5 million euros, up 37.5% compared to the same period of 2022. This evolution mainly reflects the acquisition of new orders with the main customers ANAS and Autostrade per Italia.

L’EBITDA it more than doubled to 5.4 million euros, with marginal profitability going from 16.5% to 25.2%. The operating result stands at 4.2 million euros, up by 2.3 million compared to the figure for the first half of 2022.

Precisely in this sense is the recent opening of the new operational headquarters in Bologna, which allows us to be present on a permanent basis in an area in which we have already been operating for several years with our construction sites. The strategic objective is to continue opening new local production units, to achieve greater capillarity and continue to acquire market shares”.

The backlog amounts to 83.6 million euros: this value represents coverage of almost three times the turnover recorded in the year 2022.net financial debt at 30 June 2023 it was equal to 3.3 million euros in net cash (it was 2.1 million at 31 December 2022); the absorption of net working capital in the period (1.6 million) is mainly attributable to the increase in inventories for work in progress (2.7 million), while the dynamics of trade receivables and doubts contributes positively to the generation of period cash.
