Statistics Sweden showed the wrong statistics on Sweden’s GDP and are now forced to correct the figure. The previously stated GDP development is increased from previously -0.9 percent to -0.2 percent for the fourth quarter compared to the previous three-month period.

– The economy is not slowing down as quickly as we thought, but is doing better, which may sound pleasant and good, but at the same time we wanted it to slow down so that we could restart the economic engine. Now the interest rates may remain at a high level so that it will be slower and take longer, says Claes Hemberg who is an independent economist.
