The US Federal Reserve decided on Wednesday evening to raise the policy rate by 0.75 percentage points. This is the largest increase since 1994 and more interest rate hikes are expected, according to the Fed chief.
– The central banks usually have a herd behavior. I would think that the Riksbank will increase by 0.5 percentage points, says Robert Bergqvist, senior economist at SEB.
