Ecomembrane, subsidiary signs framework contract to supply single-axis solar trackers

(Finance) – Ecomembranesa Cremonese company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and active in the design and construction of gas storage and containment systems for the production of green energy, has announced that the subsidiary (55%) SBS Solar has signed a framework contractlasting three years, with a primary energy operatorfor the design and supply of “Solaxis” single-axis solar trackers on 9 photovoltaic systems, to be built in the future, for a total installed power of over 100MW.

For the first 4 plants SBS will have an exclusive right while for the subsequent ones a “last call” right, i.e. to match any other offers received from other suppliers, explains a note. The overall value of the materials purchased under the framework contract, for the first 4 plants subject to exclusivity, is estimated and cannot exceed the amount of 6.5 million euros over a 3-year period.

The contract “is an important first step towards the strategy of expanding the Group’s offer in components for the renewable energy sector”, says theCEO Lorenzo Spedini.

The company specifies that theamount is indicative and not binding for the buyer.
