Echo gets the world first kill on Fyrakk, receiving the legendary axe

The race for the world first kill in World of Warcraft is over. The Echo guild was the first to defeat Fyrakk in Mythic.

The race for the “World First Kill” of Fyrakk in World of Warcraft on Mythic difficulty lasted almost 20 days. The ninth and final boss of the raid “Amirdrassil, Hope of the Dream” was defeated by the European group Echo last Sunday night. After 344 attempts, the professionals finally managed to send Fyrakk onto the boards and secure the title.

Even though it didn’t look so close in the video, the raid was on the verge of complete annihilation – because barely half a second later one of the seeds would have exploded and almost certainly killed the entire raid.

The race was so exciting this time: The race for the first kill of Fyrakk will go down as one of the most exciting races in World of Warcraft history. Because both Echo and the competition from Team Liquid had already beaten the boss down to almost 1.7% of life points before the group was wiped out. There hasn’t been such a close, exciting race for a long time.

What was the reward? While there is no actual prize for the race from Blizzard, there is another reward associated with it. Because the legendary weapon from Fyrakk, the ax “Fyr’alath”, has dropped for the first time. The weapon can be equipped straight away, but it overwhelms the wielder after a short time. A quest line begins that allows you to customize the weapon so that it can be used by the wielder.

The legendary ax of Fyrakk.

With the Mythic Race now over, it seems likely that Fyr’alath will be able to drop on lower difficulties starting with the next ID. This was also the case in the last raid tier.
