Now the cross-country star reveals her boyfriend’s biggest demands.

It was a real bang start to the season too Ebba Andersson. During the World Cup premiere, she came first in the 10 kilometer classic and fifth in the 20 kilometer freestyle. The victory was Andersson’s sixth in his career.

Ahead of this weekend’s World Cup competitions at home in Gällivare, several of the Swedish riders will not come to the start, because they have tested positive for covid. Jonna Sundling, Lynn Svahn and William Poromaa will all be forced to stand over, and Frida Karlsson is uncertain to begin with. One who, however, is healthy and ready to follow up the premiere’s success is Ebba Andersson.

It was two years ago that 26-year-old Andersson met her boyfriend Gustaf Berglund, 25. Berglund is also a cross-country skier, and competes for IFK Mora. The 25-year-old first got to know Ebba’s younger brother Fredrik Andersson, which caused the pair to start hanging out in the same circles. Then they took a liking to each other, and started hanging out.
Boyfriend’s demands
Thanks to his SC gold in the five-mile last spring, Berglund will also participate during the World Cup in Gällivare, which will give the couple the chance to spend time together.
Already now, Andersson highlights his lover’s best and worst qualities.
– The best thing about him is that he really is the kindest guy in the world and has incredible patience with me.
– The worst? He is quite tired in the morning and I am not. Its a challenge. And so he can be very “here and now” and not have the best foresight. There I get to be on him for a while, reveals Ebba during a live chat on Expressen.

She also acknowledged her prospects off the skis.
– I want to get married at some point in my life. It doesn’t have to be after the career. And then I want to have a family, says Andersson.

But in the run-up to the wedding, she won’t be the one proposing, at least as long as it’s Gustaf she gets along with.
