Frida Karlsson and Linn Svahn made a big success this weekend.
But Ebba Andersson is now venting her great disappointment.
– I’m frustrated and I know what’s causing it, she tells Expressen.
The World Cup competition in Goms, Switzerland was a great success for the Swedish national skiing team. Where the podium places hailed in for our blue and yellow cross-country skiers.
The Swedish success
Only on Friday salvaged Lynn Svahn and Frida Karlsson the mixed relay together with Jens Burman and William Poromaa. Then it continued with complete elimination in the sprint when Svahn won and the other Swedes took care of the first five positions in the final and on Sunday Karlsson arranged a very strong second place in the mass start.

But alongside the Swedish successes this weekend, there is one skater who is extremely disappointed. Last week won Ebba Andersson honored with the Jerring Prize and received the praises of the entire Swedish people, but the tracks are not going well at the moment.
Ebba dissatisfied
Andersson has not managed to fully recover from the covid disease that ruined her Tour de Ski. In the mixed relay, it was especially clear when Frida Karlsson jerked and Ebba couldn’t keep up at all on the second leg.
– It didn’t feel good. I know what it is due to. I haven’t gotten back to the level I was at before I got sick. It is this covid disease that seems to take longer than I had thought, says a very disappointed Ebba Andersson to Expressen and has to answer the question if she is worried.
– Worried and worried. It’s probably more that I’m frustrated that the body doesn’t want to ride as much as the brain does.

The Swedish second team, of which Andersson was a part, managed to come back strong and took second place in the mixed relay. On Sunday, things went much better for Ebba, who took a fine fourth place in the 20 km mass start.
– I just have to try to find some strength again. Hopefully it’s a drive-through like this that the body needs. I think that the more time, training and competition, the better it will be. But it seems to take a lot of time. I myself am basically a rather impatient person, she says to the evening newspaper.
