Ebba Andersson is really excited for the coming ski season.
And she has two WC gold medals to defend during the championship in Trondheim.
Now the Swedish ski star reveals his decisive move to become the best in the world – again.
The weather is starting to get colder as summer has almost passed by. Winter is fast approaching and then it will be time for another new ski season.
Andersson’s goal
The big goal for all cross-country skiers is of course the World Ski Championships in Trondheim 2025. The Swedish skiing star Ebba Andersson is really really busy and does his utmost to come as well prepared as possible.

The 27-year-old has two WC gold medals, the skiathlon and the three-mile, to defend from when she became the WC queen in Planica 2023.
– It is the WC that is the big, individual goal, Andersson admits to SVT.
– I have WC gold to defend, so I don’t have to worry about trying to repeat something similar.
Ebba’s change
In order to be as good as possible, Andersson has made a significant change in his training. By putting extra strength training on a specific part of the body.
– I have tried to get a little stronger in my upper body, because I see that I still have a little to gain there. I have, after all, my greatest expertise in downhill skiing, regardless of whether it’s crazy or classic, says Ebba to the TV channel.
– So I have tried to equip myself well to cope with more easily ridden terrain.

Ebba Andersson admits that there have been some extra hours in the gym to build up the upper body.
– Of course, I have tried to prioritize those passes, absolutely. I don’t know if there have been extra many, but I really tried to have quality in what I did in there, she says.
