The winter was not what Ebba Andersson had hoped for.
But now she is looking forward to next season.
A detail in a new picture together with boyfriend Gustaf now makes all her followers cheer.
It was not the season that Ebba Andersson had hoped for. She came in with enormous expectations for herself last winter after a truly fabulous season, where she became the great medal queen during the WC in Planica, where there were a total of two golds and two bronzes.
Heavy season
Ebba Andersson also started the last season brilliantly, with two victories already before Christmas, but then both form and results for the star dropped. The Christmas break was marred by covid for Andersson, who after New Year was forced to break the Tour de Ski early, and it would turn out that the disease would affect her throughout the season.
Ebba Andersson never found her way back to her true dream form, and the Ebba everyone got to see just a year earlier was suddenly blown away. Hopefully we can once again see an Ebba Andersson fighting for podiums every week again in the coming season, and especially with a special WC year ahead, when the championship is in Trondheim, Norway. And from following Ebba Andersson’s social media, it seems that she is not too depressed by the heavy winter, but rather happy and excited for what is to come.
Praised for the detail
Ebba Andersson is one of Sweden’s most popular athletes and every picture she posts on Instagram is met with positive cheers and lots of comments. Recently, she made all her followers completely melt with a detail in a picture together with boyfriend Gustaf Berglund, who is also a cross-country skier.
When Ebba Andersson celebrated Midsummer recently, she did so wearing a Delsbo costume, which is a folk costume from the Delsbo parish in Hälsingland, where Ebba Andersson was born. The picture was met with lots of nice comments from followers, who absolutely loved the detail of the outfit, and the loving picture between Ebba and Gustaf.

“Most beautiful national costume on you beautiful,” writes a third.
