Ebba Andersson is current with a TV program later this spring.
But the cross-country star is tight-lipped about the celebrity meeting with Edvin Törnblom and Oscar Zia.
– I don’t know how much I can say, she tells Sportbladet.
She has won three WC golds and a silver and a bronze at the Olympics. In addition, she came third at the Tour de Ski 2021 and became the third Swede to pick a podium place in the competition after Charlotte Kalla and Stina Nilsson. Ebba Andersson27, is undeniably one of Sweden’s hottest cross-country skiers. She was awarded the Jerring Prize for her efforts during the WC 2023.
Got the season ruined
Unfortunately, last year’s season was not quite what Ebba had imagined. Three individual victories and two relay victories at the World Cup is not bad, but the rest of the season was marked by illness. She then tried to come back too soon, which resulted in the season being ruined instead.
– First I had to take another spring to try to recover my body physically. It wasn’t completely balanced during the second half of last season. After that I tried to take a step back and learn from what was. And then I used it for some improvements, she tells Sportbladet.
During her recovery period, she also discovered that it was useful for her to do other things besides training. It gave her the energy to try new things that had nothing to do with skiing at all.
That’s why Ebba was on Gotland
One thing she’s been getting noticed for in recent weeks – which has absolutely nothing to do with skiing – is an unexpected Instagram photo she took with the singer and TV personality, to say the least. Oscar Zia and the podcast star and humorist Edvin Törnblom. Since the three don’t usually hang out on a daily basis, many understood that it was about something special.
To Sportbladet, she reveals that the trio were on Gotland together, but she doesn’t say much more than that when it comes to what they actually did there.
– You will see that in the spring. What I can say is that I am in a TV program that will be broadcast in the spring, she says and continues:
