Ebba Andersson goes his own way in the last upload for the World Cup in Trondheim.
When the other team either goes to Bruksvallarna or is at high altitude camp, she moves home to mom and dad in Sollefteå.
– I want peace and quiet and security, says the ski star.
Ebba Andersson27, received a good form message during the World Cup weekend in Falun. Saturday’s 10 kilometer victory was followed on Sunday with a third place in the double distance. Then she went home to mom and dad in Sollefteå for her own World Cup charging-contrary to the other team that loads either Bruksvallarna or at high altitude in Italian Lavazé.
Ebba Andersson’s unique decision
Ebba Andersson now wants to think a lot about the World Cup. A concept she first tried before the World Cup in Planica in 2023 and that ended with two golds.
– I want peace and quiet and security, Andersson explains.

Don’t you get it with the other team in Bruksvallarna?
– Yes, of course you get. But you also get a clearer reminder what we are there to do. To prepare for the championship. The little reminder I want to save myself. I want to save the mental power, Ebba Andersson replies and continues:
-It’s a pre-camp for a championship. Then it can be easy to constantly be mentally in the idea of why you are there. It has many times cost me more energy than it has tasted.
Ebba Andersson’s plans for the World Cup
She wants to be groomed by mom and dad at home in Sollefteå.
– It has been positive for me to also be able to relax alongside the training and everything is just as usual. It is me and my parents and my home environment.
