Eats everything at once, dies from one thing

Because players still have to wait patiently for The Elder Scrolls 6, they’re doing more and more absurd things in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. A player has now undergone a “food challenge” and eaten many foods at once. He proudly presents the result to us.

How did the player do that? User amelix34 took 20,000 gold and bought all the food and ingredients that can be bought in shops in the larger cities. These include, for example, bread, carrots and apples.

In one clip, the player shows himself eating all the food and ingredients at once. To do this, he opens the menu, clicks on all the foods and leaves the menu again. The character’s spectacular death can then be seen:

After a fade to white, the character falls to the ground and remains there struggling. A little blood also spurts from his chest area. So the food and ingredients didn’t suit the character as well as he thought.

But contrary to the assumption that the stomach simply burst due to the volume of the food, it was probably only because of a single ingredient that the player died.

The world of Skyrim still fascinates many players today. You can see for yourself in the following trailer:

Jarrin root causes nasty stomach problems in Skyrim

What did the character ultimately die of? There was a Jarrin Root in the player’s inventory. This is a poisonous ingredient that, according to the NPC Astrid, will lead to the player’s death.

We get the root when we complete the quest “The End of an Empire”. Astrid gives us the root to poison the Emperor Titus Mede II. The player probably forgot that he still had the root in his inventory and therefore died.

In the comments, user LFNews explains that the root causes 1,000 damage. This leads to immediate death for many characters because their life points are not that high (via reddit.com).

For a possible follow-up experiment, one user suggests that next time the player should swallow the ingredients first, then the food. This way he can absorb the damage caused by the root.

Other users make fun of the death animation or are reminded of a scene from the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. One user summarizes what many people think:

“God we need a new Elder Scrolls game lmao”

Many players are eagerly awaiting a sequel to Skyrim and are therefore setting themselves increasingly crazy challenges. For example, it took a player 11 years to reach level 100 in every skill:
