A sunny morning helped draw a crowd Saturday to Sarnia’s Easter in the Park.
The annual family event held next to the Children’s Animal Farm in Canatara Park was busy with egg painting, inflatables, rides on the Canatara Choo Choo, a hot dog, cotton candy and popcorn booth, and performances by Circus Jonathan.
It began at 9 am and ran until noon.
The main event was an Easter egg hunt at 10 am
Youngsters, divided up by age groups, ran through taped off sections of the park to collect colorful plastic eggs they were able to turn in for candy.
Easter in the Park has been a tradition in Sarnia for decades.
