After taking control of the city of Kamanyola, located approximately 45 kilometers from Bukavu, in the South Kivu province, AFC/m23 fighters continue their progress towards Uvira, further south. Sporadic shots and a climate of panic have been reported in several surrounding localities, including in Uvira, a city on the banks of Lake Tanganyika.
