The error devil has struck once again at EA Sports and the values of an attacker have gone down almost overnight FC24 Ultimate Team changed. While the offensive player was previously one of the less interesting cards, he can now even keep up with the TOTY cards in the best case scenario.
This is the situation:
So you should definitely search your club. With a bit of luck, you have drawn the Werkself player in the past and can now look forward to having a reinforcement for your team.
EA Sports’ mistake makes Bayer Leverkusen’s Nathan Tella one of the strongest cards in FC 24 – but not everyone is lucky
This makes the error even crazier: In fact, not all players who had the young talent lying around in their club will be able to enjoy the same card, as two different versions of the 24-year-old already exist in the virtual trading card game – one with English nationality and one with Nigerian nationality.
Since the Bundesliga club’s offensive player has dual citizenship, EA Sports released a new version after he was called up to Nigeria’s national team. Since this is the more recent version, the unexpected upgrade only affects all silver cards with the Nigerian flag.
But it goes on. Anyone who had already upgraded the Nigerian version of Nathan Tella with the help of an evolution in FC 24 received a significantly improved version compared to the conventional RTTF card, which even rivals the recently released TOTYs with its stats.
The improved version of the right winger has a 98 rating and can even be used in attack due to his wider positions. With 99 Speed, 96 Shooting, 98 Passing and 98 Dribbling, Tella is suddenly one of the best cards in all of Ultimate Team.
After the scandal surrounding Lionel Messi’s Team of the Year card, EA Sports has now accidentally awarded another strong card to part of the community within a very short time.
It remains to be seen whether the publisher will correct the mistake in this case and withdraw the unintentional upgrades, or whether the lucky players will be allowed to keep the card.
