According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.4 and had its epicenter northwest of Måløy. Several tipsters have contacted VG and said that they felt tremors that lasted between 10 and 15 seconds. The northernmost testimony comes from Trondheim and the southernmost from Kristiansand. – I sat on the sofa and watched The Farm on TV. Suddenly it was just as if the sofa and the body were vibrating. Glass and everything in a cupboard clinked, says Svein Worren to TV2. The earthquake station in Bergen confirms that it appears to have been a fairly large earthquake. – It looks quite powerful, says the seismologist on duty at the earthquake station to VG.
