According to the Palestinian official news agency WAFA, Jalal al-Dubeyk, Director of the Al-Najah Al-Watani University Earthquake Center in Nablus, announced that the epicenter of the earthquake was 13 kilometers north of the city of Nablus. Dubeyk stated that the 4.8-magnitude earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
