Earthquake in Afghanistan! The number of deaths is rising

The loss of life is increasing in the earthquake that occurred yesterday in Afghanistan’s Herat province. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Disaster Management, Janan Saiq, announced in his statement that the number of people who lost their lives in the earthquake disaster increased to 2 thousand 445. Saiq also announced that more than 2 thousand people were injured, revising the number of injured people to 9 thousand 240 people.

While search and rescue operations continue in the villages hit by the earthquake, it is estimated that approximately 1,200 people are still under the rubble.

The 6.3 magnitude earthquake that occurred yesterday in the Zindajan region of Afghanistan caused great destruction in 13 villages, and 1,320 houses were completely destroyed.
