(Tiper Stock Exchange) – “Invest in your planet” and the claims of the 53rd edition of the World Earth Daythe most important environmental event of the United Nations which will take place tomorrow, Saturday 22nd April. Marathon of events from North to South of the boot and in the Capital: in addition to the Village for the Earth on the Pincio Terrace and the Villa Borghese Galoppatoio in Rome, will be held there Multimedia Marathon #OnePeopleOnePlanet, with the Concert for the Earth to the Fuksas Cloud.
As mentioned, the program is very busy: at 10.00 will be held an event aimed at illustrating what has been defined as “the most authoritative international project for our future”. The “big leap” is the path indicated by the authors of the latest report to the Club of Rome, entitled “Talk: Earth For All – Roadmap for an Earth and a Future for all”, 50 years after the publication of the first, born in 1968 thanks to the initiative of Aurelio Peccei, containing reflections, analyzes and proposals on our future. The following will take part in the event: Johan Rockström, director Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (Keynote Speech); Gianfranco Bologna, Club of Rome, honorary president of the WWF scientific community; Enrico Giovannini, Club of Rome, scientific director of ASviS; Walter Ganapini, honorary member of CTS European Environment Agency; Simona Castaldi, professor of Ecology, University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli; Flavia Sollazzo, EU Energy Transition Director – Environmental Defense Fund; Pierluigi Sassi, president of Earth Day Italy. Artistic contributions: Max Paiella, Luigi Petrucci, Marco Tarascio – Moby Dick.
To inaugurate the day, the “March for the Earth”. A huge, colourful, joyful parade animated by bands, jugglers, sportsmen, fanfare on horseback, flag-wavers, street artists, associations, volunteers and anyone who wants to participate to send a message of love and respect for our planet. It starts at 12.00 from the Pincio Terrace and continues towards the Galoppatoio, the Children’s Village, those of Sport, Science and Biodiversity, until the finish line of the ribbon cutting at 13.00 in the center of the Village for the Earth.
To the riding trackin the Sport Area, along the playful path made in total safety by the members of the National Association of Firefighters of the CN, children will be able to learn to deal with the different types of walkways thus gaining experience and touching the diversity that may arise at particular moments in their life journey.
Unmissable appointment with the sports champions. In addition to the Italian champions of the Italian Table Tennis Federation, Alessandro Baciocchi, Daniele Pinto, Jordy Piccolin and the European champion of the Italian Boxing Federation, Emanuele Blandamura, awaited with the Fiamme Oro Elisa DiFrancisca, Italian former Olympic fencing champion, foil specialist.
Now in its fourth edition, as mentioned, the #OnePeopleOnePlanet Multimedia Marathon: from 8.00 to 24.00, 16 hours of live content. Talk Shows, international connections, artistic, scientific and institutional testimonies will animate the “relay of voices and hearts to make the heart beat for the Earth again”. The central event of the event is the meeting of young people connected by 5 Continents with the organizers of Youth4Climate and the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto.
From 1930 space to the big event evening, with the Futura Live Show – The future is an extraordinary show, conducted by Chiara Giallonardo and Carolina Rey which will be opened by Arisa, godmother of the evening event. To close the marathon, at 21.00 the historic Concert for the Earth with great artists including Tommaso Paradiso, Leo Gassmann and Ermal Meta.
