EarlyONs are free drop-in play programs offered by the County of Brant and City of Brantford for children up to the age of six and their parents/caregivers.

Located at 15 Ewart Avenue in Cainsville, the program is offered from 9 to 11:30 am on Mondays by Child and Family Services of Grand Erie, and by Six Nations of the Grand River on Wednesdays that includes Indigenous programming.
Both days are open and at no cost.
“We are very grateful to our friends at the City of Brantford for managing Social Services for County of Brant residents,” Brant Mayor David Bailey said in a recent release. “The free programs offered through EarlyON Centers and Child and Family Services of Grand Erie provide the opportunity for the youngest members of our community and their caregivers to get out, play and connect with others.”

Free drop-in programs are also available at the Paris branch of the County of Brant Public Library, North Ward School and St. James Church in Paris; Holy Trinity Church in St. George, and community centers in Scotland, Mt. Pleasant, and Burford.
“EarlyON programs are a wonderful opportunity for parents and caregivers to explore play and learning with their children and each other, supported by Early Childhood Educators who provide support and resources ensuring children have the best possible start in life,” said Michelle Connor, manager of Children’s Services and Early Years for the City of Brantford. “We appreciate that the county is providing this wonderful space to expand EarlyON in our community.”
