The following was stated in the statement regarding EA SPORTS FC 25: “Electronic Arts has revealed the next chapter of the new football title with EA SPORTS FC 25, set to launch on September 27, 2024. EA SPORTS FC continues to build the world’s largest football platform with a series of innovations led by Rush and FC IQ to deliver the most social and authentic experience ever. The EA SPORTS FC 25 trailer is also available to fans for the first time, featuring cover star Jude Bellingham showcasing his famous football skills through the game’s Frostbite Engine. EA SPORTS FC 25 introduces Rush, an all-new 5v5 experience that uses the same gameplay controls and real-world football mechanics as 11v11. Playable in Football Ultimate Team, Clubs and Kick-Off, Rush is designed specifically for playing together with friends, allowing groups of four to form teams and take to the field alongside an AI-controlled goalkeeper. Rush is a fast-paced single-player experience in Managerial Career, allowing you to control your Youth Academy development throughout the season with new playable 5v5 tournaments. FC IQ offers greater strategic control, enabling tactical fundamentals to be overhauled for every 11v11 match, while a new AI model powered by real-world data from some of the biggest teams in football influences player tactics through all-new Player Roles.

Team tactics have been revamped and more realistic collective movements have modernised positioning at both ends of the pitch, improving gameplay that is modelled on each team’s real-world style of play and providing greater variety from match to match. Live Starting Points in Career put players at the centre of some of the biggest real-world stories, like taking charge of a club after mid-season transfers or managerial changes. Additionally, women’s football will be added to Career Mode for the first time this year, providing parity with men’s football across all game modes and furthering EA SPORTS FC’s commitment to growing the women’s game.
