Update, October 25th at 7:00 p.m.: The Trailblazers Event is now live and brings new special cards to the game. As expected, these will receive new PlayStyles and new player roles.

When does Trailblazers start? The Trailblazers event starts on Friday evening, October 25, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team. This is the usual event time when most new content comes to EA FC.
This is indicated by a new loading screen when starting Ultimate Team.
What kind of event is this? We already know the Trailblazers event from FC 24. Back then it was all about the brand new PlayStyles. Cards received completely new PlayStyles and PlayStyles+ as well as boosted values.
How exactly Trailblazers will play this year is not yet known. However, the loading screen suggests that, in addition to the PlayStyles, the new player roles could also play an important role.
For example, we could see completely new roles for players.
