The event for this year’s FUT Birthday will be released in EA FC 25 on Friday, March 7, 2025. On MeinMMO we give you the most important information about the promo, the new players and their upgrades.
Update from March 5, 2025 (7:45 p.m.): On Wednesday (March 5, 2025) 7:00 p.m., the daily registration tasks were published. You can now complete this with a bronze player for the next 2 weeks to easily secure rewards.
When does FUT Birthday start? The event begins on Friday, March 7, at 7:00 p.m. in Ultimate Team. From this point on, you can use new content such as players, Squad Building Challenges (SBCS), goals, EVOS and much more.
What kind of event is that? EA Sports celebrates the birthday of the popular Ultimate Team mode traditionally together with the community. Since FIFA 14 you have been expecting you to FUT Birthday Strong special cards with upgrades, interesting packing offers in the shop, as well as worthwhile tasks and Squad Buliding Challeng (SBCS), which you can use to improve your Ultimate Team.
Since Tuesday (March 4, 2025) there have been the first indications of new players and their upgrades to the FUT Birthday in FC 25.

Information indicates upgrades and 3 players for Fut Birthday
What are these indications? A new announcement screen has been published in the main menu in Ultimate Team. You can see the new card design for the players who appear during fut beggday. There are 3 different designs for normal players (pink), icons (white) and heroes (purple).
In addition to the appearance of the cards, the new screen provides some information on what upgrades to the FUT Birthday could look.
Which upgrades are indicated? Each card on the screen is marked on the side with an “SM/WF ★ 5”, which means that the players are probably published with a maximum skill upgrade for skill moves (special movements) and Weak Foot (weak foot).
The first 3 upper cards, which are shown a bit larger, provide important information on new playstyles and stat-upgrades. In contrast to the other cards, you can see the rating, the nation, the association, the position and 2 values each.
Which players are indicated? The first card from the new screen (top row, 1. Map from left) can undoubtedly be identified as a FU Birthday card of the Norwegian striker Erling Haaland from Manchester City.
The other two cards are probably the Brazilian icon of Ronaldinho (rivalo) and world footballer Aitana Bonmatí from FC Barcelona (but also teammate Putellas or Pedri/Gavi from the men’s team).
