What is TOTY? The Team of the Year, or TOTY for short, is probably the biggest event in EA FC 24. Here you can celebrate the best players of the past year once again. The upgrades for the TOTYs are so strong again this year that they will be among the best cards in the game for a very long time.
How was the TOTY chosen? Starting Monday, January 8th, you had one week to vote for this year’s TOTY. From a preselection you were able to choose eleven starting players who, in your opinion, deserved to receive a strong TOTY upgrade.
Now the players have been officially determined and, in addition to very strong stats, they also have two Playstyle+, which according to the professional also includes the best playstyles in EA FC 24. They are really unique and fit the meta perfectly.

What are the twelfth players? In a voting you were able to choose between three other players who narrowly missed being nominated for the TOTY. The winners have been determined. Surprisingly to few, a permanent guest is back at TOTY.

What are the Honorable Mentions? Honorable Mentions are also part of this year’s event. These are popular players who were up for TOTY but didn’t get enough votes to make it to the final team. They are also given upgraded special cards, although the improvements are much more moderate than with a real TOTY card.

Leaks announce more mini TOTYs as SBCs
Where do the leaks come from? FutSheriff had already published a list of all the names before the honorable mentions were released. The following names are still missing and will likely appear in the game in the form of SBC in the next few days.
