Lonneke has a similar strategy for this weekend, but: “I’m not going to switch gears. They’re now in bed around 7:30 p.m., that will be half an hour earlier.” She thinks it’s important to loosen the reins a bit during the summer holidays. “They’re allowed to do more, yes. I still want to give them that holiday feeling. So they’ll stay in their pyjamas a bit longer in the morning, have more tablet time and eat ice cream more often.”
