About 280,000 students from 44 countries participated in the study. The young people indicated, among other things, that they get along well with their parents, which contributes to combating loneliness. “For both parents, the Netherlands is one of the five countries where young people score most favorably when it comes to being able to talk to parents about their concerns,” notes lead researcher Gonneke Stevens.
