Huuhkajie’s wing link shot from the middle sector to give the Go Ahead Eagles a 1–0 lead by Victor Edvardsen for an excellent preliminary work in the fifth minute of the match.
The Finn was substituted in the 76th minute.
Substitute for the home team Milan Smith managed to be on the field less than five minutes after scoring a 2–1 winning goal for the Go Ahead Eagles in overtime.
Having won four of their last five matches, Go Ahead Eagles is seventh in the series, FC Groningen is in 14th.
In his 17 series matches of the season, Antman has scored two goals and passed eight complete hits. All of his power has come in the last ten league games.
Antman leads the assist statistics in the Dutch premier league with his eight assists. PSV’s duo Ismael Saibari and Noah Lang has passed seven goals to a man.
“Wrong time for Antman in Groningen”
Antman moved on loan to FC Groningen in January 2023. He played eleven games in the winter and spring seasons for the club and scored two goals and assisted one, but did not interest the club management after his loan period.

– He is still a young player at the age of 23, but has matured recently. He has become a father, which of course also helps in this process.
– On the field, he is now a more reliable player than before. A couple of years ago, he was still a bit “restless” in Groningen. Maybe he wanted to succeed and do too much, then the player sometimes makes more mistakes, van der Ree thinks.
Van der Ree points out that it was not an easy place for Antman to join the relegation-threatened club as a temporary reinforcement in January 2023.
– The fact that it didn’t work out in Groningen was partly due to the club’s situation. We were fighting relegation back then and had to use him, although it may not have been an ideal situation physically. It was actually the wrong time for him in Groningen, says van der Ree.
