Their names are Spirou and Fantasio, the Marsupilami, Tif and Tondu, the Blue Tunics, Jerry Spring, Natacha, Largo Winch, Buck Danny, Khéna and the Scrameustache or even Boule and Bill, the Smurfs, Gaston Lagaffe, Lucky Luke, Gil Jourdan, Marc Lebut and his neighbour… Impossible to name them all.
Welcome to ” Dupuis the hero factory », to use the name of the exhibition offered by the Museum of Fine Arts in Charleroi from 17 December. The former editor of the newspaper Spirou Thierry Tinlot, is the commissioner. He is the guest of VMDN with the current editor-in-chief Morgan DiSalvia and two authors, and not the least: Willy Lambildesigner -among others- of the mythical series ” The Blue Tunics “, and Batemadoptive father of the Marsupilami.
They are reunited on RFI to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Dupuis editionswho welcome us today in the heart of the historic building in the Marcinelle district, in Charleroi, in the south of Belgium.
