Athletics is sawn for the prize money

A big controversy surrounding this championship has been the prize money when it comes to athletics in particular. Now it changes before this Olympics, but the change means that only the athletes have a chance for prize money. Since it is precisely athletics that will be able to take part in the prize money, there is a great chance to see Swedish athletes with a supplement in the coffers. Among others, Armand Duplantis and Daniel Ståhl has a great chance at the gold.

As a winner of an Olympic gold, you win approx. 550,000 Swedish kronor.

Now it remains to be seen, will any of our Swedish medal hopefuls get to go home with a juicy sum of money in their luggage?
