A lengthy interview with the actor was published in GQ magazine, which states, among other things, that Chalamet saw the second Top Gun film eight times in the cinema:
Top Gun was a huge inspiration to me last summer when we were making Dune. Some of the crew were a bit upset, but I just found him one of the greatest films I’ve ever seen.
